Angular speed diagram
Angular speed is the rotational analog of linear speed, being the angle turned divided by the time taken. Thanks to unit conversions, this calc also allows the calculation of the rotational period (reciprocal to the rotational speed).

Always remember that angular speed does not directly convert to linear speed, since the radius of movement needs to be taken into account. Another calc provides this calculation. For reference, vinyl records spin at 33, 45, and 78 rpm, and CD and DVDs spin at up to ~10,000 rpm. The world rotates at around 1 revolution per day!
