Energy used in activity diagram
By using CalcTool's unique equation based on your weight and the level of activity, the power you are generating and the energy you are burning are calculated. Values for e.g. swimming, jogging, cycling, running and rest are given. Remember that this is a rough guideline only.

Fill in the boxes, choosing an activity level from the guide above (for extreme exercise you may go even higher). The unit of "Calories" as is often used is seen here as "kcal". You may also see how this relates to other units.
This calc shows your rate of power consumption, but note that this is not all converted to movement. Much of it is converted in your body to heat (that's why you get hot when you exercise).
